A very recent picture of completed bath remodel - Addition for client of 16 years in Los Angeles. Dramatic change in powder room of house. Project completion in August 2010.

This is a before picture of the above bathroom. I added on a few feet in the length of the bathroom but kept the same width. Raised the celing to 9' and built it wil a vaulted detail around perimeter. A Velux 2x4 skylight is 3x6 where it meets new 9' ceiling which has multiple angles around perimeter of room giving the room a feeling of increased height.

The bathroom below is designed by Gayle Glasband Design built in Hidden Hills, California for the Garcia residence.

Historical construction experience

In 1970 I moved to Minnesota at the age of 17 years old and began working as an apprentice carpenter serving a 4 year apprenticeship under a Swedish carpenter & cabinet maker Allard Hoyard in Northern Minnesota.

I began dedicated work on kitchens in 1974. Between 1974-1978 I worked with North Star Services in Saint Paul, Minn building kitchens and restoring homes for the State Historical Society of Minnesota 100 years old and older.

In 1978 I returned from Minnesota where I began working in LA as a young craftsman building highly detailed projects that demanded extreme precision in the finest homes of Los Angeles obtaining projects from showrooms on Robertson's "designers row" between Burton Way and Melrose.
