Historical construction experience
In 1970 I moved to Minnesota at the age of 17 years old and began working as an apprentice carpenter serving a 4 year apprenticeship under a Swedish carpenter & cabinet maker Allard Hoyard in Northern Minnesota. Within several years I moved to St Paul, Minnesota where I worked on homes 100 years old and older in conjunction with the state historical society of the Twin Cities.
I began dedicated work on kitchens in 1974 full time.
In 1978 I returned from Minnesota where I began working in LA as a young craftsman building highly detailed projects that demanded extreme precision in the finest homes of Los Angeles obtaining projects from showrooms on Robertson's "designers row" between Burton Way and Melrose.
